General Description
This position provides timely and detailed support to our existing client base. It provides technical support for the Lead Advisor and/or Service Advisor. Responsibilities include data gathering, modeling, case design, scenario building, plan development, and presentation development. May participate in client meetings, but not in an advice capacity. Has no decision-making authority on client matters. This full-time position is employed by the Cascade West Group (Sherryl Adair and Camille Adair-Hatch). To succeed in this role, an individual should be detail oriented, a self-starter, motivated, and excited about working with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Enter client information into various systems
  • Prepare and update financial plans and presentation material for client meetings
  • Enter information into financial planning software and prepare draft financial plans
  • Deepen existing client relationships through processing of client requests, resolving client questions, and making sure client information and documentation are up to date
  • Work independently with minimal supervision servicing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
  • In coordination with a lead advisor and our back-office support team, draft written recommendations using templates and software tools
  • Research and respond to client inquiries
  • Finalize, submit, and track all client account and application paperwork
  • Gather and maintain customer suitability information
  • Maintain existing client relationships through processing of client requests, resolving client questions, and making sure client information and documentation are up to date
  • Assists Financial Advisors, Office Manager, and other members of team in the preparation and follow up for client meetings
  • Updates and maintains client information in several planning tools, including Salesforce, MoneyGuide Pro, Morningstar, and others
  • Completes electronic and paper service forms and new business applications
  • May fill out Variable Life/Variable Annuity/Mutual Fund/Brokerage applications and submit to lead Financial Advisors for review and submission to clients
  • May accept and/or enter trade orders from clients, including unsolicited trade orders
  • May sit second chair in meetings to take notes
  • May handle all post meeting tasks
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Advisor

Qualifications

  • Previous financial services experience desired
  • Securities (6/63, 7/66, or 7/63 & 65) and Life, Health, and Annuities registration required if not currently registered, registrations may be obtained as a member of our team during an assigned study period
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 3+ years preferred
  • Strong technical computer aptitude and knowledge of business tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce) or ability to learn
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a high quality of work while experiencing frequent interruptions
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information

Compensation: $55,000-70,000 plus annual bonus based on team performance

Compensation will fall in listed salary range and will be commensurate with experience. Annual bonus based on performance of the team. Competitive retirement benefits available.  

As part of Cascade West Group recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the process. Fingerprints will be required as part of FINRA registration process for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
