Job Description :
Emerald Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead our growing team and streamline our operational processes. As the Director of Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and compliant functioning of our wealth management practice. You will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects, optimizing workflows, and enhancing the overall client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations team, setting clear objectives and goals to ensure the achievement of the practice's vision and mission. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance operational processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and minimize operational risks. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that all operations are conducted in strict compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and stay up-to-date with regulatory changes. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, promoting a culture of collaboration, excellence, and accountability. Technology and Systems: Oversee the implementation and management of technology solutions, including client management software, CRM systems, and reporting tools. Client Services: Collaborate with wealth management advisors to improve client service delivery, client onboarding, and communication processes. Financial Management: Monitor and manage operational budgets and expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality service. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks, creating risk management strategies and contingency plans. Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for senior management to monitor operational effectiveness. Vendor and Partner Management: Manage relationships with third-party service providers, including custodians and technology vendors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial industry regulations, including FINRA and SEC rules.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in financial technology and software tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
