Covenant Financial is looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives working not only independently but also with a team. The Financial Advisor is responsible for providing businesses and individuals with sound advice regarding their financial planning and investments. Their duties include meeting with clients to establish their needs, using clients' financial information to develop financial plans to maximize profitability or reduce debts and researching investment opportunities for clients.

Position Summary:

The Service Advisor will support a team of financial advisors to help maintain a client service model through consistent client contact and support.  This role will be a main point of contact for clients with the practice.  The Service Advisor will help maintain and grow existing business with current clients and assist in onboarding new clients. The Service Advisor will act as liaison between the client, the team, and customer service to enhance client satisfaction. The Service Advisor reports to the Lead Advisors and is employed by Covenant Financial Group.

Job Description

Specific client service responsibilities may include:

Meeting and Case Prep

  • Create Meeting Agendas
  • Attend client meetings document notes as needed
  • Support Lead Advisor with financial plans for businesses
  • Advice tool data entry
  • What If Tax
  • Retirement Explorer
  • Money Guide Pro
  • Social SecurityPro
  • Compose written recommendations and strategy summaries for clients and Lead Advisor
  • Coordinate and or document all meeting notes in Salesforce

Life/Health/Annuity/MF New Business Support

  • Run illustrations and complete applications for Advisors
  • Complete service and new business forms, track underwriting and facilitate issue of contracts
  • Run GPO and Term Conversion lists and quotes for team

Ongoing Service

  • Answer product specific client questions and reviews as needed
  • Oversee and approve service forms sent by staff
  • Correspond with home office on client issues, find resolution and communicate to client
  • Provide phone coverage when needed

Practice Support

  • Main point of contact for Practice’s C & D clients
  • Service existing clients at all levels of the client service model
  • Support Practice’s current service and support staff
  • Along with lead advisor, mentor, train, and support new support and sales teammates

  • The Service Advisor will support the team of financial advisors in multiple facets of client engagement. They will be a primary point of contact for clients on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

  • Attainment of FINRA SIE within 90 days of hire/transfer (licensed role only).
  • Satisfactory background check, fingerprinting and securities registration and/or insurance licensing verification, if applicable.
  • Excellent communicator with solid interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented (nothing gets past you)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with CRMs
  • Ability to maintain the highest ethical, confidential, and professional standards always
  • Demonstrated sound decision-making skills

As part of Covenant Financial' s recruiting/hiring/contracting process, a verification of a candidate's background will be made to complete the process. Fingerprints will be required as part of FINRA registration process for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for review against nationwide fingerprint records.
