This 12-week internship is a key piece of Thrivent’s entry-level talent program to ensure a strong talent pipeline to meet the needs of the organization now and into the future. Learn and understand the Investment process through:

Trade Support (Trade verification & communication, Cash Reporting, FX)

Derivatives Support (Variation Margins, Collateral, Settlements)

Holdings Support (Corporate Actions, Reconciliations)

Reporting (Positions and Exposures)

Investment Strategy Support (Product Changes and Strategy Changes)
Experience Gained from Internship

Knowledge of settlement practices and procedures for all domestic and foreign securities: equities, fixed income and derivatives (swaps, options, and futures)

Knowledge of capital markets and industry practices

Ability to actively interface with a variety of internal business partners (e.g. portfolio management, trading staff and accounting)

Work experience in a time sensitive environment

Independent judgment

Bloomberg Terminal exposure

Position Requirements

Current Junior (Dec. 2025 or May 2026 graduation date) working towards an undergraduate degree in Finance or Economics

The applicable hourly wage range for this full-time role is $22.00-$25.00 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
