This position is responsible for providing leadership for talent acquisition team programs. This encompasses controlling project deliverables, building and monitoring program metrics, working cross functionally, and collaborating with team members. The Manager is responsible for building and executing consistent process to grow programs and drive Weighted Client Facing Capacity results. This role is responsible for leading in a matrix environment and driving effective partnerships with the corporate and field stakeholders.

This can be a remote position within the US.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Design, build, and execute Talent Acquisition programs and pathways. Establish benchmarks, metrics and leading indicators. Ensure consistency with playbooks and supported processes. 

  • Key programs and pathways include employee referral strategies, Team-Sponsored Launch advisor, Client-Facing Associates, early career talent strategies and more. 

  • Serve as a main point of contact for program operations support while building capabilities to support the work within the team.  

  • Key deliverables include designing and enabling scalable processes, decision frameworks, and tools that improve clarity, consistency, and execution across the organization. 

  • Lead representation of Talent Acquisition organization in role design and strategic planning with Distribution Solutions and enterprise stakeholders to build, scale or operationalize growth initiatives. 

  • Manage tasks and statuses within a project management framework. Provide regular updates on the program to field and corporate stakeholders.  Build resources, training, and support for field leaders to keep partners up to date on changes and modifications that may occur. 

  • Function as a leader within the matrix environment. Serve as a conduit between Field Talent Acquisition functional leaders and as a strategic partner between Field Talent Acquisition and Field Learning.

  • This role will interact with individual contributors, Field Organization, External vendors, contractors or consultants, Managers and/or directors with Thrivent. 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:   

 Required:   

  • College degree in business, management or related business field or equivalent experience 

  • Demonstrated experience (5+ years) managing in the financial services industry 

  • Experience in project management, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Knowledge of tools, techniques and resources for recruiting and onboarding financial sales candidates preferred 

  • Skillset that will support focus on procurement of diverse talent for the organization 

  • Strong interpersonal communications and relationship building skills 

Preferred:   

  • Excellent planning/organizing skills 

  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills 

  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems (e.g. Workday Recruiting) 

  • Experience using virtual communication tools and conducting virtual sourcing searches e.g. remote meeting technology 

  • Minimal travel may be required depending on business needs

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $109,268.00 - $147,832.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
