Supporting an inclusive culture is important to Thrivent as we grow our business and our impact with communities across the country.
We encourage and support continued learning and development for all. We engage our workforce and build community through our Business Resource Networks (BRNs) and Advisor Resource Groups (ARGs). Participation in these groups is open to all members of the workforce—including those who identify as part of the community as well as their allies and advocates.
Business Resource Networks (BRNs)
Our BRNs foster community within our workforce by serving employees, our field and the business. They welcoming diverse perspectives, BRNs help to attract, engage, develop and retain talent.

Helps ensure Thrivent is a welcoming employer for Black, Indigenous and People of Color by creating a culture of inclusion.

Helps emerging professionals develop a sense of community, grow professionally and build bridges across generational divides.

Fosters the inclusion and growth of members of our workforce who are impacted either directly or indirectly by both apparent and nonapparent physical, mental disabilities and neurodivergence.

Honors those who serve and have served our country, by raising awareness of veteran issues and connecting our workforce and their families to support and resources.

Helps increase awareness and acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community by creating an environment where everyone can be their best authentic selves.

Empowers women to unleash their full potential by cultivating an inclusive environment and encouraging them to advance their skills and leadership.
Advisor Resource Groups (ARGs)
ARGs play an important role in Thrivent's strategy of attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining our field workforce. Four ARGs support financial advisors who aspire to grow Thrivent's client base in diverse communities.

Supports and serves Thrivent’s Black advisors and field leaders in their roles and encourages advancement through training and development opportunities and increasing understanding of the Black community.

Supports Latino financial advisors and provides increased understanding of the Latino community, allowing Thrivent to grow.

Honors those who serve and have served our country, by supporting Thrivent’s efforts to develop and grow a diverse pipeline of advisors and clients who are veterans.

Supports women financial advisors to learn, grown and succeed in the financial services industry.
