We’re actively hiring in four key growth markets—Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, and Minneapolis—where you don’t need to be licensed to apply. We’ll provide the support and resources to help you obtain the insurance and securities licenses necessary for this position.
If you’re located outside these areas, we’re also hiring licensed advisors for remote opportunities.

This job isn't about finding clients; it's about engaging them
In this role, you’ll gain experience working with clients virtually, gain confidence with Thrivent’s Financial Planning Framework and Advice tools, and start to build a book of business.
Why You?
- Client-centric: You excel at building relationships and trust, making clients feel understood and valued.
- Strategic thinker: You have a knack for helping clients create actionable plans that align with their dreams and values.
- Experienced and ready to grow: You have sales skills or experience from other applicable industries that you can repurpose as a financial advisor.
- Licensing: You hold a Series 7 or 6 and 66/63 licenses or you’re in one of our growth markets and ready to earn them. In Atlanta, Dallas, Denver or Minneapolis, we offer paid coaching to help you obtain your licenses. Outside of those hubs, we’re hiring candidates who are already licensed.

If you prefer to meet with a local financial advisor or professional, our team can connect you with someone in your area. Whether you work with the Virtual Advice Team, or with a local Thrivent financial advisor or professional, there will generally be no difference in the fees and expenses you will incur.
